The majestic beauty of the longest pass in Western Nghe An

Located near Nam Can International Border Gate, Noong De Pass on National Highway 7 is the longest pass in the western region of Nghe An. Seen from above, this pass is very majestic, no less than the "great passes" across Vietnam.

During the French colonial period, this was called Barthélémy Pass. On July 23, 1968, the Ministry of Interior of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam decided to change the name to Noong De Pass (or Noong De), the name of a village where this pass passes through. Photo: Tien Dong
