The majestic beauty of the longest mountain pass in western Nghe An province.

Located near the Nam Can International Border Gate, Noong De Pass on National Highway 7 is the longest pass in the western region of Nghe An province. Viewed from above, this pass is majestic, no less impressive than other "great passes" across Vietnam.

During the French colonial period, it was known as Barthélémy Pass. On July 23, 1968, the Ministry of Interior of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam decided to rename it Noọng Dẻ Pass (or Noòng Dẻ Pass), after a village through which the pass passes. Photo: Tiến Đông
