The captivating beauty of 4 Nghe An beauties who entered the semi-finals of Miss Vietnam 2020
Among the 60 contestants who entered the semi-finals of the Miss Vietnam 2020 contest, there are 4 beauties from Nghe An.
Dau Hai Minh Anh
Contestant Dau Hai Minh Anh, born in 1999, originally from Nghe An, is currently a student at the University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh City National University. In everyday photos, Minh Anh is said to have many similar features toMiss Vietnam2012 Dang Thu Thao.
“After knowing that I made it to the Semi-finals of Miss Vietnam 2020, I was very surprised and happy. The contestants in the Preliminary round are all beautiful and talented, so being able to continue gives me more motivation to try harder in the next stage of the competition” - Minh Anh shared.
Confident in her ability to communicate fluently in English and French, Minh Anh prepared carefully for the Q&A session with the judges. However, she was surprised and a bit disappointed when she only had to introduce herself, so everyone thought Minh Anh was eliminated in the Preliminary Round.
Minh Anh confided that she really likes Hanoi and looks forward to gathering in the common house with the other 59 contestants of the Semi-Final round every day. “After 2 days of accompanying the contest, I realized that I need to prepare a lot of things and most importantly, my health to show my best at Miss Vietnam 2020.”
Nguyen Thi Hoai Thuong
Contestant Nguyen Thi Hoai Thuong was born in 1997, from Tan Ky, Nghe An. Hoai Thuong graduated from the Institute of Natural Education at Vinh University and is currently working in the field of online marketing.
Hoai Thuong shared that she came to the Northern Preliminary Round with a rather shy mentality because she did not know anyone. But like Hoai Thuong, she coincidentally met a girl from Bac Ninh who was with her mother. The two sisters talked and confided throughout the Preliminary Round and at the end of the day received the good news when they both held hands and entered the Miss Vietnam house.
“I was especially impressed that the six powerful judges of the competition were all kind and friendly. The questions they asked were all close and familiar. Previously, I thought the judges would be very strict, strict and cold. The truth was completely the opposite,” said Hoai Thuong.
A memorable memory of Hoai Thuong at the Northern Preliminary Round was the moment she and her fellow countryman, contestant Ngo Dieu Ngan, sang the song "Central Afternoon Rain".
Hoai Thuong and Dieu Ngan. “Actually, singing is not my strength. I sing badly but with everyone’s encouragement, I sang with Dieu Ngan and felt more confident. Even though it wasn’t good, the two sisters still tried their best to perform the song “Mua chieu mien Trung” – Hoai Thuong shyly.
She added: “In the semi-finals, I need to improve some skills such as catwalk, stage performance as well as improve my body shape. This is the first time I have participated in a big competition and performed on a big stage, so I need to make more efforts and try harder. I think I need to pay special attention to my health to participate in training and programs accompanying the competition.”
Ngo Dieu Ngan
Candidate Ngo Dieu Ngan, born in 2000, arrivedfrom Nghe An. She is currently a third-year student at the Faculty of Law, Vietnam Women's Academy. Dieu Ngan surprised everyone when she returned to the Miss Vietnam 2020 contest. She was the "youngest" of the Miss Vietnam 2018 house.
Compared to the shy and awkward appearance of 2 years ago, Dieu Ngan has returned with more confidence and maturity. She diligently practices yoga and gym to improve her figure. At the same time, she trains and cultivates the necessary skills for the competition.
“Even though I returned to Miss Vietnam, I still felt nervous and anxious. The night before the Preliminary Round, I couldn’t sleep and was still a bit hesitant about my decision this time. I am more confident than Dieu Ngan of 2 years ago, but I am also more nervous and anxious. As everyone can see, this year’s contestants are really high quality and even. Therefore, any contestant who gets a ticket to the next round has a bit of luck” - Dieu Ngan confided.
The Nghe An native affirmed that she must try harder to express herself and convince the judges of the contest. “If I don’t get better, it will be a real fear and disappointment for myself. Therefore, I don’t allow myself to be lazy in training and try to improve myself every day. Miss Vietnam 2018 has given me invaluable experiences and this is an opportunity for me to prove it to other contestants. I hope everyone will always follow and support the 60 contestants of the Semi-finals”- Dieu Ngan said.
Bui Thi Thanh Nhan
Contestant Bui Thi Thanh Nhan, born in 1999, is a student at the College of Foreign Economic Relations. She was born and raised in Ham Tan, Binh Thuan but her hometown is Nghe An. Thanh Nhan makes a strong impression with her brown skin and healthy, modern beauty.
Thanh Nhan revealed that the reason she signed up for the Miss Vietnam contest was because she wanted to leave a meaningful mark on her youth. Moreover, this contest was also a challenge that Thanh Nhan set for herself. In a completely new environment, she had the opportunity to learn and experience.
After passing the Preliminary round, Thanh Nhan and the Top 60 were in Hanoi to prepare for the upcoming Semi-final round. “I am happy to continue experiencing the Miss Vietnam journey in the next stage. The further I go, the more I have to try harder to improve myself and break through in the Semi-final round” - Thanh Nhan said.
According to Thanh Nhan, from the beginning of the competition, she did not pursue the goal of becoming famous or being in the Top 3. What Thanh Nhan wanted was for herself to try and show her best. "Because only then, no matter where I end up, I will have no regrets" - Thanh Nhan emphasized.
