For nearly three years, Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc spent all her savings traveling around the world, taking portraits of women with the aim of honoring the beauty of each region.

Her images range from women in rural India to urban teenagers in Europe. With over 1 million followers online, Noroc’s photo book shares the stories and images of over 500 women from around the world.

Starting the project in 2013, Noroc has now completed her work. Sharing about the project, the female photographer said that she loves global diversity, the richness of humanity and wants to go beyond to discover the purest. "In my opinion, true beauty is to keep the origin and culture intact. Beauty comes from nature, without too much embellishment," she said.

This is a passionate project that the 30-year-old female photographer has cherished for many years. The places she has visited such as Russia, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Italy, Tibet, Ethiopia, North Korea... have all left their mark. And especially, the image of women under Noroc's lens appears with the most authenticity.

"My goal is to help people realize that beauty exists everywhere, regardless of ethnicity, trends or money. Natural and pure beauty, not copied from anyone else." Through that, the work shows the diversity of beauty in each region, regardless of any stereotype.

The female photographer expressed that in many places, women face discrimination or prejudice just because of their skin color or ethnicity. But to her, beauty is respected everywhere and is very diverse.

"I still want to continue to travel to take pictures of women in many other places, turning this project into a source of inspiration for everyone. So that everyone can try to live as themselves," Noroc said.
