After 30 years of construction and development, Cua Lo town has become a dynamic coastal urban area with a spacious and modern road traffic system. In particular, many roads are named after famous people with clean and beautiful landscapes, contributing to the appearance of the famous coastal tourist area in the Central region.

The street is named after Nguyen Canh Que (1599 - 1658), a general of the Later Le Dynasty in Vietnamese history, who held the position of Deputy General of the Left Admiral, Prince Consort of the Capital, and the title of Duke of Lieu. This is Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard, a strategic route connecting Vinh city with Cua Lo beach, which is under construction and expected to be completed and put into use soon. In Cua Lo town, this route is called Nguyen Van Linh Street (1915 - 1998), who was the General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam from 1986 to 1991. He was one of the Party leaders who initiated the renovation policy, abolishing the centralized bureaucratic subsidy mechanism, shifting to a multi-sector economy, operating under a market mechanism with State management.
