Visiting his hometown, going to Dao River to bathe, 8th grade male student was swept away and died
(Baonghean.vn) - An 8th grade student who had just returned from Ho Chi Minh City to visit his grandparents in his hometown, followed his friends to go swimming in the Dao River, but because he didn't know how to swim, he was swept away by the water.
At 3:59 p.m. on July 27, 2020, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police received a report of someone drowning in Dao River, through Hamlet 9, Lang Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team No. 4 to dispatch vehicles and 10 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene and deploy teams to search for victims.

The victim was identified as NTB, 14 years old, an 8th grader who had just returned from Ho Chi Minh City to visit his grandparents living in Lang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. B. followed his friend to go swimming in the Dao River in Lang Thanh commune, but because he did not know how to swim, he was swept away by the water and went missing.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities and functional forces deployed forces to search for the victim, however, due to rising river water, it was not until about 5:30 p.m. that the rescue force was able to retrieve the victim's body and hand it over to the authorities.
