20% discount on bus tickets for students in the Central region
The Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center is currently offering a ticket sales program to support disadvantaged students to buy tickets to provinces from Binh Dinh to Thanh Hoa with a 20% discount.
The program will last until January 10, 2014, the number of tickets depends on the needs of students. Students must register to buy through the Youth Union, Association or the student affairs office of the school. The school will then compile and represent students to buy tickets at the Student Support Center of Ho Chi Minh City. Students need to have a certificate of family hardship from the locality.

In addition to this discounted bus ticket program, the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center is implementing the "Spring Bus Trip" program, giving away 2,000 Tet bus tickets to poor students to return home, with priority given to students in provinces heavily affected by recent storms and floods.
Mr. Le Xuan Dung, deputy director of the center, said: "We are negotiating prices with bus companies and preparing to distribute free bus tickets to schools during Tet. The center is still calling for the community's support to carry out the program of giving free bus tickets as well as other activities to take care of students during Tet."
It is expected that at 6:00 a.m. on January 22, 2014 (December 22), 45 buses from the "Spring Bus" program will depart from the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House (4 Pham Ngoc Thach, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) to take 2,000 students home to reunite with their families.
