VFF will not rush to fire coach Phan Thanh Hung
Despite the fact that the Vietnamese team is at risk of being eliminated from the group stage of the 2012 AFF Cup, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) still has no intention of considering the coaching position of Mr. Phan Thanh Hung.

Speaking to the press on the sidelines of Vietnam's training session, VFF Vice President Nguyen Lan Trung affirmed: "How can we change the head coach every time we lose a match?"
Yesterday afternoon, VFF President Nguyen Trong Hy also had lunch with the coaching staff and players at the Golden Tulip Hotel before flying to the AFC meeting in the afternoon. Mr. Hy shared and encouraged the coaching staff and players to prepare well for the final match of the group stage with Thailand.
Head of the Vietnamese delegation, Ngo Le Bang, was supposed to fly with Mr. Hy to Malaysia for a meeting at the AFC, but because the situation of the Vietnamese team was at an extremely sensitive stage, Mr. Bang chose to stay with Mr. Phan Thanh Hung and his team.
Today, according to the plan, the Vietnamese team will have a training session at 4:00 p.m. on the secondary field of the Hua Mark Sports Complex. However, about an hour before the training session of the Vietnamese team, it rained heavily, so the coaching staff decided to let the players practice at the gym of the Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel to ensure the health of the whole team.
The main players only did light exercises, then took a hot shower and went to their rooms to rest, while the reserve players practiced for about an hour and then went home to rest. The atmosphere of the training session was generally quite quiet, although some players still tried to appear cheerful. Because they had to share the training room with the Philippines, the training session was almost devoid of laughter from the players.
Mr. Bang affirmed that even if there is only a glimmer of hope, Vietnam will try, and the team's goal is to win against Thailand as an apology gift to the fans.
Regarding the health information of the Vietnamese players, until this afternoon midfielder Nguyen Sa still had to go to the hospital to receive an IV because he had not fully recovered from dengue fever, and at this point it can be confirmed that Nguyen Sa will not be able to participate in the match with Thailand tomorrow (November 30, 2012)./.
