At about 5:00 p.m. the same day, Nguyen Manh Tuan (born 2006, residing in Hai Giang commune, Hai Hau district) drove an electric bicycle carrying Nguyen Phu Cuong home.

When he reached hamlet 4, Hai Phong commune, Hai Hau district, Do Hoang Anh Phuc and a group of 4 friends, all students of An Phuc High School, stopped and beat Cuong.

Being beaten, Cuong took a homemade metal bar about 13cm long, sharpened at the tip to fight back. As a result, Do Hoang Anh Phuc was stabbed in the chest and died on the way to the emergency room; Tran Cong Hieu (born 2006, residing in Hai Tay commune, Hai Hau district) was stabbed once in the abdomen and is being treated at Nam Dinh General Hospital.

The Investigation Police Agency of Nam Dinh Province Police has temporarily detained Nguyen Phu Cuong; coordinated with the Provincial People's Procuracy to organize a crime scene investigation and autopsy; and summoned related subjects to consolidate records and handle them according to the provisions of law.
