Violating traffic laws, two young men attacked the police
Thuc and Hung were subdued after using bricks to attack the 911 police in Da Nang when being reminded of traffic violations.
On March 16, Thanh Khe District Police (Da Nang) prosecuted Trinh Cong Thuc (from Quang Tri) and Nguyen Sy Hung (both 22 years old, residing in Quang Binh) to investigate the act of resisting people on official duty.
According to the investigation results, Hung and Thuc were driving the motorbike after drinking alcohol. At around 0:20 on March 11, both were stopped by the C1-911 working group on duty at the Ham Nghi - To Ngoc Van intersection (Thanh Khe district) for inspection.

The two young men also committed the mistakes of not having a driver's license and not having a rearview mirror, but the working group only reminded them, did not write a report and let them continue driving.
However, Thuc and Hung later returned to challenge the police, using bricks to attack the police on duty. Another 911 patrol team discovered the incident and asked the two young men to stop their vehicle.
Instead of obeying orders, Thuc and Hung drove straight into the official vehicle. One of them continued to throw bricks at the police who were restraining him. They ran a short distance before being arrested.
