After the internal meeting with the Board of Directors and the coaching staff of the Thanh Hoa football team on the morning of August 18, Mr. Le Thuy Hai left the position of Technical Director at FLC Thanh Hoa Club. Even right after the decision was approved, Mr. Hai "lo" took a bus back to Hanoi.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Le Thuy Hai said he decided to leave the Thanh Hoa team for many reasons, including having to "bear the brunt" of FLC Thanh Hoa's recent disappointing streak in this year's V-League.

The 72-year-old former technical director of FLC Thanh Hoa said: “The players entered the field with too much pressure due to the goals set for this season by the team’s leadership. This is the main reason why FLC Thanh Hoa could not maintain stability throughout the past journey. As the technical director, I am responsible for the team’s results, but it is difficult to succeed when the players enter the field with such heavy legs.”

Accordingly, Mr. Hai "lo" also shared that the purpose of accepting the invitation to Thanh Hoa is to bring FLC Thanh Hoa to the pinnacle of glory in V-League 2016. That is why he decided to leave, although in reality, FLC Thanh Hoa has not lost hope of competing for the "king" title. Currently, FLC Thanh Hoa is ranked 5th on the rankings with 34 points, 6 points behind the top team Hai Phong, while the season still has 5 more rounds to end.
