That's the position!

(Baonghean) - While accompanying a survey team the other day, I realized that the role and influence of the Party organization in businesses, especially in joint-stock companies and private enterprises, don't seem to be very clear, sir!

- This issue has already been raised and warned about by many people. The inevitable trend is that joint-stock companies and private enterprises will dominate the market, and if the Party organization cannot exert influence or assert its role and position as an indispensable factor in the development of enterprises, the situation will be extremely difficult.

So, in your opinion, how should this problem be solved?

- The problem is, like everything else that exists in this world, you have to prove, you have to show people that your appearance, existence, and development have a legitimate reason. You have to demonstrate that you are beneficial, if not to everyone, then at least to the majority.

- What do you mean...?

- It is necessary to demonstrate the advantages of having a Party organization compared to not having one or compared to places without one. Party organizations must work closely with businesses, effectively contributing to resolving difficulties and obstacles in their operations. Anything they cannot do themselves, the Party organization must help them solve.

- But that's not easy because the Party organization can't interfere in everything, while businesses operate under the Enterprise Law.

- You don't interfere deeply; you act as a bridge between businesses and workers, and between businesses and relevant agencies and departments. You harmonize these relationships and, when necessary, act as an agent to resolve difficulties for businesses. For example, when a business is truly facing difficulties in production and operations, you can help them overcome these challenges by connecting them with relevant departments to obtain assistance such as debt restructuring, tax reductions, or delayed tax payments in accordance with regulations. When there are disputes with workers regarding their rights, wages, bonuses, or social insurance, the Party organization must also step in to resolve them satisfactorily, ensuring the rights of both sides. This helps businesses stabilize and develop. In short, you have to demonstrate to them how beneficial it is to "work" with you!

So who will do that?

- Who else would be involved besides the agency responsible for this issue? Every locality has a Party committee for the business sector. That's the main point, the connection, and the bridge. The key is to proactively seek out and build relationships with them, not to wait for them to come to you. Because simply put, your position is in concrete actions that can benefit the business, not in words, official documents, reports, or directives…
