Vicem Hai Phong 0-2 Vietnam National Team: A successful start.
The two goals scored against Vicem Hai Phong at Lach Tray Stadium not only brought victory to the Vietnamese national team, but more importantly, coach Hoang Van Phuc's team can be considered to have had a successful start.
This was a match where coach Hoang Van Phuc conducted personnel and playing style experiments to initially assess the players' abilities and find the optimal lineup for the Vietnamese national team at the present time.
From this perspective, the Vietnamese team can be said to have had a successful match, at least in terms of the score. The two goals by Gia Tu and Danh Ngoc at the end of each half secured the victory for the Vietnamese team.
Every beginning is difficult. Hopefully, with this perfect start, Coach Hoang Van Phuc and his team will perform even better in the upcoming matches.

First half:
At 4:00 PM, the match officially began. The Vietnamese national team took to the field in white shirts and white shorts, while the home team, XM Vicem Hai Phong Club, wore their familiar red kit whenever they played at home.
Because the match was open to the public, a large number of Hai Phong fans came to the stadium to watch the game live and cheer for their players or teams, especially the home team XM Vicem Hai Phong.
In the first half, the Vietnamese team had the right to kick off first, and the "heat" from the stands at Lach Tray Stadium created a vibrant atmosphere for the match right from the start.
The first chance of the match was created by the Vietnamese team in front of Vicem Hai Phong's goal, a shot by Van Quyet, but the ball went wide.
The determination of the Vietnamese national team players was evident from the very first minutes, but Coach Hoang Anh Tuan's players also played with equal enthusiasm.
After about 15 minutes, the home team Vicem Hai Phong found their rhythm in the game and began to increase the pressure on the Vietnamese team's half of the field.
Goalkeeper Thanh Bình had to work relatively hard. Meanwhile, further up the field, the Vietnamese-born player Mạc Hồng Quân was constantly closely marked by center-back Như Thành, preventing him from creating any breakthroughs.
In the 29th minute, from a free kick on the left wing taken by captain Tan Tai, Mac Hong Quan headed the ball but it went over the crossbar, a rather unfortunate miss.
In the 35th minute, during an attack down the wing, Van Hoan took a shot, but luck was not on the side of the Vietnamese team.
Enter!!!In the 42nd minute, following a corner kick taken by Tan Tai, center-back Gia Tu, who had joined the attack, capitalized on the opportunity to score from close range, opening the scoring for the Vietnamese national team.
The first half of the match ended with a score of 1-0, with the Vietnamese team currently leading.
Second half:
In the second half, coach Hoang Van Phuc made 10 changes to the starting lineup, only keeping Dao Van Phong. This also meant that center-back Michal Nguyen had a chance to showcase his skills in the Vietnamese national team jersey.
Almost immediately, this Vietnamese-born player demonstrated his aggressive playing style with decisive tackles.
Despite playing with an almost entirely new lineup, the Vietnamese team's players quickly adapted to the game and showcased their abilities.
Sixty-five minutes have passed, but the Vicem Hai Phong players still haven't had a clear scoring opportunity.
In the 73rd minute, the Vietnamese team's goal was under threat after a shot from the home team.
Vicem Hai Phong players made an effort to increase the pace of the game in search of an equalizer.
Preoccupied with pushing forward, Vicem Hai Phong's defense played somewhat carelessly in their own half.
In the 85th minute, the home team's defender failed to intercept Van Thang's cross from the right wing. The ball landed perfectly for Hoang Danh Ngoc, but the midfielder couldn't capitalize on the opportunity to increase Vietnam's lead.
Two minutes before the end of regular time, it was Van Thang's turn to miss a scoring opportunity for the Vietnamese team when his shot was saved by Nhu Thanh.
Enter!!!In the 90th minute, receiving a pass from Hai Anh, Danh Ngoc comfortably scored the goal that sealed a 2-0 victory for the Vietnamese national team.
Immediately after the match, the Vietnamese national team will return to Hanoi and will train again tomorrow afternoon. On the afternoon of January 28th, the Vietnamese national team will have another training match against Hanoi T&T Club at Hang Day Stadium.
