"Someone please feed the model something", "Nice clothes but the model is too skinny. I look horrible", "Another skinny model. This is not a good example for Victoria Beckham to give to young fans", "She looks sick and weak"... are the comments that Ms. Beckham received after the photo. According to Huffingtonpost, the model appearing in the photo is Canadian, named Chantal. She is 1.8 m tall with three measurements of 81-61-86 cm.

Nicknamed "Cirque74" - who claims to be Chantal's mother on Victoria's personal page - spoke out against all criticism. She wrote: "My daughter's appearance is determined by her genes before birth, like the rest of us. She was born tall and thin. Some people say it's lucky, others don't like it. But I think we need to learn to love ourselves and respect all the beauty around us. She loves salad and vegetables, but she also eats chocolate and ice cream regularly." She told critics to keep their hatred and judgment to let young girls like Chantal enjoy the joy of achieving new success.

Chantal's close friend - nicknamed "del.ephrem" - also spoke up to defend the model. She affirmed that the accusations that Chantal was unhealthy were baseless because the model was born with such a body. "Saying that she is too skinny or comparing her to a walking corpse is ridiculous," this person was upset.

This is not the first time Victoria has received mixed reviews for her choice of models to showcase her designs. In September 2015, Victoria was also criticized by fans for hiring a series of "skinny" models to perform for her Spring Summer 2016 collection in New York.

The most controversial choice was model Peyton Knight. She was just 17 when she walked the Victoria’s catwalk and closed the collection. Peyton Knight entered the modeling industry at the age of 11, a year older than the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s legal age. At the time, an audience member told Victoria:"Why did you let a skeleton perform the catwalk for you? Let these poor girls go. They were tortured and starved just because they tried to get a job to make a living."

Model Peyton Knight appeared at Victoria Beckham's show in New York.

However, the mother of four has since spoken out to explain. She asserted that her casting director had acted responsibly with the agencies and ensured that the girls chosen were in good health before participating in the show. Victoria said: "Just because they are young and thin doesn't mean they are hungry."
