Nghe An: Vinh gangsters shot their opponent in the stomach at night

During a fight at night on Lenin Avenue (Vinh City, Nghe An), a 28-year-old gangster pulled out a homemade gun and shot two people, seriously injuring them, then fled.

On the morning of October 23, Vinh City Police were still searching for the suspect who shot two young men at a restaurant on Lenin Avenue on the evening of October 20. Police searched the suspect’s home and seized a lot of related evidence.

The two young men who were shot were Le Ngoc Anh (born in 1992, residing in Cua Nam ward, Vinh city) and Nguyen Gia Dinh (born in 1992, residing in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city).

Anh was shot in the shoulder, and Dinh was shot in the abdomen. On October 21, the two victims underwent surgery to remove the bullets from their bodies. Victim Anh is now stable, but victim Dinh is in quite poor health.

Regarding the incident, Vinh City Police are temporarily detaining 2 suspects, while suspect H. (born in 1990, residing in Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City), the person who directly fired the gun, is on the run. Police are actively searching for him.

Before that, at around 7:00 p.m. on October 20, Le Ngoc Anh received a phone call from Nguyen Gia Dinh inviting him to a restaurant on Le Nin Street to socialize.

At around 8pm, Ngoc Anh took a taxi to the meeting point. As soon as he arrived at the restaurant, he saw Dinh being chased and beaten by a group of people holding chairs. Then someone pulled out a gun and shot Dinh repeatedly, injuring him. He jumped in to stop them and was shot in the shoulder, but was later able to take the gun away.

After the incident, police were present at the scene to ensure security and order. The initial cause of the incident was determined to be a business conflict.
