Nghe An People's Procuracy Chief was appointed Senior Prosecutor

On October 19, in Da Lat city, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint the first batch of Senior Prosecutors in 2017, including the Chief Prosecutor of Nghe An People's Procuracy.

Party Central Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Supreme People's Procuracy Chief Le Minh Tri attended and directed the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Permanent Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Hai Phong, leaders of professional units of the Supreme People's Procuracy and representatives of the People's Procuracy of 63 provinces and cities.

Appoint 12 Senior Prosecutors.

Based on the decisions announced by the Department of Personnel Organization at the ceremony, the Supreme People's Procuracy appointed the title of Senior Prosecutor to 12 officials who are leaders of units of the Supreme People's Procuracy and Provincial People's Procuracies who successfully completed the first round of the 2017 selection exam on September 27, 2017.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Le Minh Tri assessed that the appointment of 12 comrades to the position of Senior Prosecutor was a worthy result of the training and appointment of officials by the leadership of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and was the basis to help officials exercise judicial powers and better perform their duties and responsibilities.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy requested that the appointed officials must be aware that this is an honor but at the same time a heavy responsibility, so they must strive harder to orient the unit's activities to excellently complete the assigned tasks, especially to avoid wrongful convictions and letting criminals escape.

Mr. Le Minh Tri requested that cadres need to maintain internal solidarity, pay attention to promoting democracy and the role of the leader to ensure fairness as well as create trust in the unit, helping to improve the quality and efficiency of work and increasingly better perform duties and tasks; at the same time, seek the support of Party committees and authorities to advise relevant agencies, contributing to enhancing the role of the prosecution sector in the cause of fighting and preventing crime; strengthen effective coordination with judicial agencies, and successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the State.
