Viet Huong reveals her life-long role in 'Ma Da'
Viet Huong shared that she had many experiences when transforming into a corpse collector in the movie Ma Da. For the female artist, this is the role of a lifetime in her career.

Artist Viet Huong returns to the film market with a role in the movieGhost. This is a work set and filmed for 35 days in the mangrove forest in Nam Can (Ca Mau). In addition to the female artist, the film also features actors such as Thanh Loc, Cam Ly... directed by Nguyen Huu Hoang.
Sharing with us, Viet Huong said that what convinced her to participate in this project was the human element shown in the work. For her, retrieving dead bodies is a special job because "when they hear about someone dying, they run to help just because of love, because filial piety is filial piety".
"I have heard and encountered such cases, so when I read the script, I told the director that the character was strange. Only when we are close to the corpse can we understand how horrible it is," the 7X female artist confided.

Artist Viet Huong believes that every job has its own difficulties and hardships, but when accepting an invitation to act,Ma Da,She “didn’t think it would be that scary.” Because the filming location was in a river area, Minh Nhi’s student had to learn to swim, dive, and soak all day to get the desired scene. The female artist affirmed that this was a project that left her with many memories, deep impressions, and was also a “lifetime work” in her career.
To have impressive footage, Viet Huong and the crew moved into the forest to film. Anticipating the hardships, according to the female artist, the difficulties she experienced brought her interesting experiences. “At 2 pm we were at the scene to prepare, at 5 pm I finished my bowl of rice and filmed. I soaked in the water until 3 am before returning. The first few days I went ashore to eat, but a few days later I decided to eat in the water because it was so cold. Because I didn’t want people to worry about me when I got ashore,” she said.

Viet Huong added that to get into character, she decided to “no longer be herself”. The female artist hopes to be able to do well in the role of a corpse collector, bringing authenticity to the audience when watching the film. “It is the enthusiasm of the people in Ca Mau who teach and guide me step by step so that I can do my best in the role. That is what makes Huong the most emotional and can never forget”, Hoai Phuong’s wife expressed.
Female artist confirms acting feeGhosthigh but during this period, she did not work for money. Instead, Viet Huong tried her best for her works because of love and the desire to repay the profession. "Like the recent children's play, everything I said was invested. Until now, everything I do is because I want to repay the profession. The film crew paid a lot of money but when I went to Ca Mau, I just left it there," the female artist confided.
Remembering the filming sessionsMa Da,Viet Huong affirmed that it was a special journey. She emphasized: “For an artist to have such a role, it must be said that it is a lifetime one. I learned a lot of life skills, to be honest, now driving a boat is so profitable that I can almost compete with the people of Ca Mau. This is the type of role that I think most artists want to experience if they are passionate about the profession. Thanh Loc once told me: "This role is hard but enjoyable". I myself also want to do it and give it my all."
