Vietnamese Americans robbed a taxi in broad daylight
Taken to the hospital to treat his injuries, the Vietnamese American refused to go in for examination and ran out the gate, stole a taxi and drove away.
On the morning of June 12, the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes (PC45) of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that it had just handed over Cao Dinh Khoi (born in 1978, American nationality) to District 5 police to investigate the act of "robbery".

Previously, at noon on June 11, after receiving a report from the police of Ward 1, District 5 about a taxi robbery that had just occurred in front of the Orthopedic Trauma Hospital, detectives from Department PC45 quickly arrived at the scene to grasp the situation.
Accordingly, a young man about 30 years old was taken by his family to the Orthopedic Trauma Hospital for emergency treatment with a wound on his finger. However, upon entering the hospital, the subject refused to be examined and ran to the hospital gate, climbed into a taxi 51F-57519 driven by Mr. Le Hoang Cam (born in 1982, residing in Nha Be District). Suddenly, the subject attacked Mr. Cam, pushed the victim out of the car and sped away.
Through professional measures, the detectives identified the perpetrator of the robbery as Khoi and proceeded to arrest him. In the afternoon of the same day, when Khoi went to the Viet Phap hospital to treat his hand wound, he was arrested by the criminal detectives.
At the investigation agency, Khoi admitted his crime and said that after taking the taxi, he drove it to the intersection of 3/2 and Nguyen Tri Phuong streets and left it on the side of the road. The police later recovered the vehicle.
