The first images believed to be of Vietnam's T-90 main battle tanks arriving at the port have appeared with high frequency.

As is known, currently Vietnam's T-90S/SK main battle tanks have been completely assembled by the UralVagonZavod Factory, and they have even demonstrated impressive performance on the training ground and are just waiting for the delivery date.

According to previous information, the first batch of T-90 tanks is expected to arrive at Vietnamese ports in late 2018 - early 2019 and the entire contract will be completed before the end of 2019.

Last week, a ship carrying tanks arrived in Vietnam, causing some people to feel "disappointed" because it was not our T-90S/SK but the T-72B1 White Eagle of the Lao People's Army.

But we didn't have to wait long, recently the first photo believed to capture the moment the T-90S main battle tank arrived in the S-shaped strip of land has appeared.

The uniforms of the officers at the wharf are those of the Vietnam People's Army, and this delivery took place in very cold weather conditions, suggesting that this was not a photo taken during the transit of the Laotian T-72B1 White Eagle.

The camouflage paint patches on the back of the tank can be clearly seen, this is the characteristic paint color of our new generation T-90S/SK main battle tanks.

As expected by many, Vietnam may have officially received modern T-90S/SK main battle tanks right before the new year 2019.

It is currently unclear how many T-90 tanks will arrive in the country in the first batch, however, based on Russia's delivery practices, this number is usually around 10 vehicles, meaning there will be at least 6 similar ships arriving at Vietnamese ports.

Besides the T-90S/SK tank, it is hoped that Vietnam will also purchase some variants developed from the chassis for combat support missions such as the BREM-1M recovery vehicle or the MTU-90 bridge-laying vehicle.
