Vietnam offers condolences to Britain over London terrorist attack

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent condolences and regards to his British counterpart Theresa May after the attack on the parliament building in London.

Upon hearing of the terrorist attack in London, UK, which caused serious human losses, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc today sent a message of condolences and regards to British Prime Minister Theresa May, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A car driver yesterday crashed into dozens of people.pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and then crashed a car into the fence surrounding the Houses of Parliament in London. The attacker got out of the car and stabbed a police officer to death before being shot dead by other officers.

British authorities today confirmed that four people were dead, including the attacker. Twenty-nine people are being treated in hospitals across London, of whom seven are in critical condition.Police believe the killer acted alone and was "motivated by international terrorism". His identity has not been revealed.
