The number of MiG-35s that the Vietnam People's Air Force wants is currently unknown, according to Jane's.
According to Jane's, the value of the T-90S/SK contract between Vietnam and Russia, although not disclosed, could be around 250 million USD. This is considered the first tank order of the Vietnam People's Army since 1990. The deal is said to be financed from a credit fund provided by Moscow.
The S-400 Triumf is an ultra-long-range air defense system developed based on the S-300. The configuration and design of the S-400 are very similar to the S-300 but apply more modern technologies, helping to improve combat performance.
The S-400 air defense missile system can fire many different types of missiles, 40N6 missiles, with a range of up to 400 km, 48N6 missiles with a range of 200-250 km depending on the version, and 9M96 missiles with a range of 40-120 km. The use of many types of missiles with different ranges allows the system to effectively deal with many different types of targets.
