Vietnam has a modern dip coating factory.
This is a factory invested in by Mercedes-Benz, worth nearly $10 million, possessing the world's most advanced static dip painting technology, and it opened on July 17th.

Located within the Mercedes-Benz premises in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, the electrostatic dip painting plant is built on an area of nearly 5,000 m2. The plant's two main functions are surface treatment and electrostatic painting. Using modern zircobond coating technology, the production line utilizes zirconium transition metal, commonly used in spacecraft technology, to provide the vehicle body with maximum corrosion resistance and heat resistance.
Furthermore, electrostatic dip coating plants do not use or release toxic heavy metals such as nickel, zinc, and manganese. This technology also helps reduce wastewater by 30% and saves up to 40% of electricity compared to traditional phosphate electrostatic coating lines.
