Vietnam hosts the 19th Asian Physics Olympiad
Hanoi University of Science and Technology will host the competition with the participation of 30 delegations from countries and territories.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just approved the project to organize the 19th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) in 2018 in Vietnam. APhO 2018 will be held in Hanoi from May 5 to May 15, 2018.

About 30 delegations from 30 countries and territories will demonstrate their talents. Each delegation will have 8 students and 2 leaders. 60 scientific observers, 60 guests accompanying the delegations from other countries and 17 international guests will come to Vietnam to attend the competition.
National Steering CommitteeAPhO 2018 is chaired by the Minister of Education and Training, the Deputy Minister is deputy head, the Director of the Department of Quality Management of the Ministry and the President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology is a standing member. Hanoi University of Science and Technology is the host.
As the host country, Vietnam will organize the reception and farewell of delegations and guests; guide and support delegations in completing immigration procedures; organize the drafting of exam questions, invigilation, grading, announcement of results and awarding medals and certificates to winning candidates according to the APhO Regulations.
In addition, Vietnam must also organize food, accommodation and travel for the participating delegations and participants, ensure safety; prepare technical services and information technology to serve APhO 2018 activities...
