Vietnam was voted one of the most attractive destinations in 2014.
Based on votes from over 90,000 international travelers, the Telegraph (UK) published a list of the top 20 most worthwhile travel destinations in the world for 2014. According to the list, Vietnam ranked 17th, ahead of Cuba, India, and Barbados.
In the article's introduction, Vietnam is praised for the serene beauty of its pristine beaches, vast rice paddies, vibrant and developing cities, and impressive cuisine. Recently, many of Vietnam's famous landmarks have been making a strong impression on foreign media.

Leading the list is New Zealand – a country with unique landscapes and abundant wildlife. It attracts tourists with its hospitality, rich cuisine, and vibrant, diverse culture. Other top 10 destinations include: Maldives, South Africa, Myanmar, Australia, Japan, Botswana, Tanzania, Peru, and the United States.
With its 17th position in this ranking, and its consistent inclusion in the top promising and attractive destinations in the world by renowned travel websites such as Lonely Planet, National Geographic, and Tripadvisor, Vietnam's position is increasingly affirmed and something to be proud of.
