Vietnam wins second prize at the International Abstract Painting Competition.

That is the painting "Golden Autumn" by artist Pham An Hai (born in 1967), a Hanoi artist who has pursued abstract art for the past 20 years.

The painting "Golden Autumn" was created by Pham An Hai in 2011 using acrylic on a 100 x 200cm canvas. In 2013, Sotheby's auction house sold this painting for $18,000.

The painting was assessed, introduced, selected, and evaluated by Art Competition (USA) for a global competition of outstanding works in each category. This year, it is the International Abstract Painting Competition.

First prize went to artist Rikardo Druskic (Bosnia Herzegovina). Third prize went to artist Alise Loebelsohn (USA), along with several other awards.

After graduating with a master's degree from the University of Fine Arts, Pham An Hai chose abstract art, a style that strongly appeals to young artists due to its rich color palette. And with determination, Pham An Hai has had his paintings included in many collections such as: the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, the Singapore Art Museum, the Malaysia Art Museum, etc.
