Vietnam wins gold medals at U16 World Blitz and Rapid Chess

According to information from the Vietnamese chess team participating in the World Youth Championship in Greece, player Nguyen Anh Khoi has won two gold medals in the rapid and blitz chess events for the 16-year-old age group.

The tournament just ended on the evening of October 30. In the blitz chess event, although only the 5th seed, Anh Khoi played very impressively, winning 7 and drawing 1 after the first 8 matches, earning 7.5 points, winning the championship 1 series early.

Specifically, Anh Khoi won all 9/9 matches in the rapid chess event, earning 9 absolute points, leaving all other opponents far behind.

In addition to Anh Khoi's 2 gold medals, the Vietnamese team also won 2 silver medals, belonging to Le Minh Hoang in the men's U18 blitz chess event and Do Vu Thien Nhi in the women's U16 blitz chess event.
