Low-altitude anti-aircraft fire net still has its value

Currently, the weapons used to suppress enemy air defenses are very modern, including both subsonic and supersonic types with low-altitude wings... They always cause a lot of difficulties for countries with limited defense industries.

However, no matter what type they are, if they fly into the multi-layered, deep, and tricky “fire net”, they will be destroyed. The problem is how to create a low-level “fire net” that is truly decisive.

The fact that Vietnam has Gepard missile frigates; Su-30… is being reported and commented on quite enthusiastically by domestic and foreign press… but the enemy military is not necessarily very interested. At most, their combat officers will draw 2 more symbols on the situation map and that’s it.

Because simply they also have them and are even more modern, especially they are confident in their ability to deal with them. But there are low-range weapons that, although limited in range and accuracy, are still powerful enough to attract special attention from the military and combat officers of the opposing side.

In particular, the application of "electric triggers" will create a dense firepower, increasing the probability of hitting the target, while reducing the phenomenon of batteries firing in unison.

During the US anti-submarine war, more than 4 thousand US planes were shot down, more than half of which were caused by 37mm anti-aircraft guns.

At that time, 37mm guns were simply fired with the naked eye, arranged in dense battle positions, mainly fighting during the day...

The once-famous 37mm cannon is now in Vietnam's hands in large numbers, so building a low-altitude fire network with 37mm cannons as the mainstay will be less costly and highly effective in combat.

If many 37mm artillery units are placed in a certain direction, a real “fire net” will be created. This type of artillery is easy to use, not only the main force but also the local militia and guerrillas can use it well.

The AK-2-30 cannon, for example, is essentially a 30mm cannon that fires guided rounds by radar at a rate of 5,000 rounds per minute. But if the 37mm cannon were further improved to fire using radar guidance... it would be extremely wonderful.

Thus, it can be said that, improved and certainly further improved to suit the new situation, the 37mm gun will be the guide, the main attacker along with the 12.7mm, 14.5mm, 23mm guns will create an extremely dangerous low-range "fire net".

The 37mm cannon now no longer has to fight with the “bare feet and flesh” of the soldier, but now with a modern guidance system that can fight day and night. This “fire net” in the people’s war will cover the entire airspace of the Fatherland.

This low-altitude “fire net” defies all electronic suppression tricks and is the only choice, along with modern anti-aircraft guns such as the ZSU-23-4, to be the killer of low-altitude subsonic winged missiles, stealth aircraft, low-flying stealth aircraft, etc.

It is clear that in the hands of Vietnam, no weapon is redundant, no weapon is not dangerous to the enemy. That is the uniqueness, creativity, self-reliance and tradition of fighting to protect the country of the Vietnamese people.

A skillful combination of modern and primitive weapons

That is the reason why Iraq, Yugoslavia and most recently Libya, although equipped with quite modern weapons, capable of causing much damage to the US and NATO, still suffered painful defeats, unable to fight back, but only causing a little difficulty for the coalition.

Surely the military also understands that Vietnam is completely different.
