Vietnam produces simulated cockpit of Su-30

To ensure efficiency in flight training and reduce operating costs, Vietnam has successfully manufactured a cockpit simulating the Su-27/30 fighter.

According to the disclosed information, this device is designed to promote the application of simulation technology in education and training, meeting the requirements of increased practice, realistic training of units, new and modern equipment for learners and the requirements of a team of highly skilled technical staff of the military branch that is moving towards modernization.

It is known that this product is made up of 2 blocks of equipment: a simulation cabin and a teacher's desk.

These equipment blocks allow: Simulation in the cockpit of electrical testing operations of 36 practical training lessons belonging to 4 aviation engineering specialties.

Simulate on the teacher's desk the interfaces that control the student's practice process, automatically compare incorrect movements and save the results.

Failure scenarios can be selected to generate fake failure signals to test the student's troubleshooting ability.

Generate sound signals similar to the sound of aircraft operations and use open source programming code that can change the content of the exercises. Putting the equipment into training is very economical, because the cost is lower than imported equipment.

The equipment helps to enhance practical training for learners, equipment and facilities; improve the qualifications, mastery and scientific research ability of staff.

The device can also research and increase the number of electrical exercises to hundreds of exercises by upgrading the number of RS232 communication ports and programming additional training exercises.

Along with researching and manufacturing practical training equipment on Su-27 aircraft, Vietnam also researched many simulation software and simulation equipment for training.

The academy's radar simulators not only serve students' learning but are also ordered by the Military Training Department (General Staff) to be produced and supplied to units.

Currently, the academy's scientific staff are focusing on implementing the project "Air Defense - Air Force Division Exercise Command Center".

After completion, it will ensure the experimental practice and combat performance of each combat plan.
