Vietnam attends Francophone Cultural Week in Chile
Within the framework of the Francophone Cultural Week in Santiago, Chile from March 16-24, the embassies of the Francophone bloc, including the Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Chile, successfully organized the Francophonie film week and culinary culture program.

On March 16, traditional dishes at the Vietnamese cuisine corner met the large demand of guests attending the opening ceremony and really impressed with their eye-catching presentation.
During two screenings on the evenings of March 18 and 24, representatives of embassies, audiences, artists and the Chilean art community had the opportunity to enjoy the film “Hot Sand” by director Le Hoang with Spanish subtitles.
During the 3 days of cultural diplomacy activities of the Vietnamese Embassy in Chile, many audiences and diners who had traveled to Vietnam expressed their joy at both enjoying the authentic flavors of Vietnamese dishes and having the opportunity to understand more about the country and people of Vietnam.
With about a dozen films in the Francophonie Film Week, audiences and diners can enjoy a colorful and diverse picture of the culture of the Francophone Community.
For Vietnam and Chile, this is the opening activity for the events of 2016 - the year celebrating the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Chile diplomatic relations.
