Vietnam wins big at Türkiye international photography award
The 14th Orhan Holding International Photography Competition Award Ceremony took place in Bursa, Türkiye (December 1) under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP), the Turkish Association of Photographic Art and sponsored by Orhan Group.
The work "Summer on the lotus pond" by photographer Vu Manh Cuong won bronze prize in the color photography category.
This year, Vietnamese photography won big with a total of 12 awards in four categories, notably photographer Dang Quang Vinh winning the FIAP Best Photographer award and the Orhan Group's special award for experimental photography, and Luong Nguyen Thien Chuong winning the gold award for black and white photography.This year’s contest attracted 671 photographers from 71 countries around the world with more than 5,000 works. Vietnam alone had 15 photographers participating with 12 winning works and 9 works exhibited.

Photographer Dang Quang Vinh won all five awards and the overall Best Photographer award. Vietnam's winning works mainly focused on the country's landscapes and the working people of Vietnam.
The Orhan Holding International Photography Competition is a prestigious competition, first held in 1998 (initially only for photographers in Turkey, but in 2004 it began to expand internationally), attracting the participation of many photographers around the world.
