Vietnam to host international naval parade in 2020
The military foreign affairs activities of Vietnamese Navy ships over the past time are to accumulate experience for the parade in 2020.
Previously, we also sent warships to exchange with many naval forces in the region.

It should be noted that more than 3 years ago, on May 2, 2015, the Navy solemnly held a grand parade at sea, gathering all the best types of warships and fighter planes to participate.
It is expected that by 2020, the size of the Vietnam People's Navy will increase dramatically compared to 5 years ago when we have received 6 Kilo 636 submarines, 4 Gepard 3.9 missile frigates, 8 Molniya 1241.8 fast attack missile boats and a number of Pohang-class warships (even the Ulsan) ceded by South Korea.
At the same time, from now until 2020, it is very likely that Vietnam will purchase some more specialized naval aircraft such as anti-submarine patrol aircraft or maritime reconnaissance aircraft, along with the Su-35S fighter jet, which is also likely to be present at the above grand ceremony.
