Vietnam ranked 94th out of 155 happiest countries in the world
Vietnam ranked 94th in the United Nations' World Happiness Report, with Norway at the top.

Norway has jumped from fourth place for the past two years to first place, surpassing Denmark, which has held the record for being the happiest country in the world for three times. The fifth annual report was released today by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), according to Reuters.
Following Norway and Denmark are Iceland, Switzerland, and Finland. In Southeast Asia, Vietnam ranked 94th, behind Singapore (26th), Thailand (32nd), Malaysia (42nd), the Philippines (72nd), and Indonesia (81st). African countries such as the Central African Republic, Burundi, and Tanzania, along with two Middle Eastern countries, Syria and Yemen, are among the bottom 10 countries in the ranking of 155 countries.
The rankings are based on six factors: gross domestic product per capita, life expectancy, freedom, generosity, social support and corruption.
