Viettel signed a cooperation agreement to promote the development of educational technology in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - In recent times, Viettel has accompanied and cooperated to contribute to improving the effectiveness of information technology application in management and teaching of the education sector of Nghe An. That is one of the outstanding results mentioned at the Conference on Signing a Cooperation Agreement between the Department of Education and Training and Viettel Nghe An held on the afternoon of June 17.

According to the report at the conference, implementing the comprehensive cooperation program between Viettel Military Telecommunications Group and the Ministry of Education and Training from 2014 to present, Viettel Nghe An has signed agreements and effectively implemented coordination activities with the provincial education sector.
Specifically, implementing the program: School Internet, Viettel Nghe An has provided free high-speed fiber optic Internet connection to 1,391 schools in 21 districts across the province; with a total annual value of more than 5 billion VND.

Viettel Nghe An's "For studious children" program annually awards scholarships to 1,000 children in 119 disadvantaged communes in the 135 and coastal areas. Over the past 5 years, Viettel Nghe An has awarded 5,870 scholarships, equivalent to 5.8 billion VND.
Deploying the video conferencing system solution, Viettel has provided software and installed online systems for 84 educational institutions in Thanh Chuong and Yen Thanh districts.

In addition, Viettel also coordinated with the provincial education sector to implement the following programs: Building an electronic information portal for the Nghe An education sector under the domain name nghean.edu.vn; supporting floods in the three districts of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong and Ky Son; supporting online meetings of the education sector at all levels.
In addition, Viettel Nghe An also provides IT solutions for schools and educational institutions such as: electronic invoices, digital signatures for tax declaration, electronic social insurance, payment of public services through the State Treasury; School messages...
