Viettel Nghe An 'Spreading knowledge - Connecting love' in Huoi Tu commune, Ky Son district
(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 35th anniversary of the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel), Viettel Nghe An recently launched the program "Spreading knowledge - Connecting love" at Huoi Tu 1 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Huoi Tu commune, Ky Son district.
The program was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Trong Dung - Party Cell Secretary, Deputy Director of Viettel Nghe An, along with department heads and representatives of mass organizations of Viettel Nghe An.
With the aim of supporting the material assurance as well as improving the spiritual life of the school's teachers and students in the most practical way, Viettel Nghe An has previously worked directly and listened to the needs and wishes of the school.
Accordingly, in the program, Viettel supported the school with some necessary equipment including: 1 65-inch smart TV, 1 food freezer, 1 rice cooker, 2 3-compartment cabinets, 250 sets of school supplies for students... The total value of the program is up to 40 million VND.
Huoi Tu 1 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Huoi Tu Commune, Ky Son District is a disadvantaged school with 241 Mong ethnic students; of which 157 are from poor households and 26 are from near-poor households. The lives and educational facilities of the students and teachers are still very difficult and lacking.
Hopefully, the program "Spreading knowledge - Connecting love" launched by Viettel Telecom Women's Union will be increasingly expanded, spreading many positive values and connecting much love in the community to difficult circumstances in life./.
