Viettel Nghe An: Donating 2,000 tons of cement to poor households in the border area

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 6, Viettel Nghe An opened the program "Viettel gives away cement to harden floors, renovate houses and livestock barns" for households in 15 highland communes in the province.

Representative of Viettel Nghe An leadership presented the symbol of 2,000 tons of cement to be donated to the border people's associations to the leaders of Nghe An province.

It is expected that from now until September 2016, the program "Viettel donates cement to harden floors, renovate houses and livestock barns" will give 2,000 tons of cement to households in 15 highland communes in the province, in the districts of Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Que Phong, Tuong Duong and Ky Son.

Speaking at the ceremony, Captain Nguyen Trong Tinh - Director of Viettel Nghe An emphasized: This is a social charity program of Viettel Military Telecommunications Group, with the desire to demonstrate the spirit of mutual love, helping people in difficult circumstances to stabilize and improve their lives.

At the ceremony, Viettel Nghe An presented 240 tons of cement to 145 households in Mon Son and Chau Khe communes, Con Cuong district.

On this occasion, 145 households in Mon Son and Chau Khe communes, Con Cuong district received meaningful support from the program.

Over the years, Viettel has been implementing many social charity programs aimed at the poor and policy families.

In 2014 and 2015, Viettel Nghe An, together with philanthropists, donated 3,659 breeding cows worth a total of 54 billion VND to poor households in the province's border highlands.
