The "For Diligent Students" scholarship program, implemented over a 10-year period (from 2014 to 2024), covers 50 provinces and cities nationwide. This academic year, the program will be piloted in primary and secondary schools in particularly disadvantaged communes, border communes, and safe zone communes under the investment of Program 135, as well as particularly disadvantaged communes in coastal and island areas. Each commune will receive 10 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND per year, comprising 5 scholarships for primary school students and 5 for secondary school students.

In Nghe An province, the "For Diligent Students" scholarship program is awarded to 119 communes; of which 107 communes benefit from Program 135, and 12 communes are located in coastal areas, with 1,190 scholarships worth nearly 2 billion VND per year.
In addition to supporting disadvantaged students to excel in their studies and addressing the issue of students dropping out due to financial difficulties, the scholarship program also creates a strong ripple effect in the community, contributing to attracting and encouraging the participation and contributions of organizations and individuals to share the difficulties faced by poor students.
