In 2016, celebrating its 40th anniversary, Vinamilk continues to affirm its position as the number 1 brand in Vietnam in general and in the dairy industry in particular, with more than 200 types of nutritional products, 7 billion products are trusted by consumers nationwide every year. Vinamilk's product market share currently ranks first in all industries in 2016 (of which liquid milk is about 55%, condensed milk is about 80%, yogurt is about 85%, baby milk powder is more than 40%...).

Vinamilk also ranked 49th globally in terms of dairy product revenue in 2015 (estimated according to Euromonitor). Currently, Vinamilk is also the enterprise with the largest capitalization in the Vietnamese stock market with nearly 9 billion USD.

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh presented the 2016 National Brand logo to Vinamilk representative.

Vinamilk has been exporting to 43 countries, bringing Vietnam's national brand to many countries around the world. Since 1997, Vinamilk's total export turnover has reached about 2 billion USD (equivalent to about 45,520 billion VND). Vinamilk's export revenue in the first 10 months of 2016 reached 4,662 trillion VND (equivalent to 208 million USD). In addition to 13 factories in Vietnam, Vinamilk also has 3 factories in the US, New Zealand and Cambodia.

Vinamilk products have been exported to 43 countries, bringing Vietnam's national brand to many countries around the world.

In addition to the main export products such as infant formula and condensed milk to traditional markets, in recent years Vinamilk has gradually shifted to exporting other products such as fresh milk, yogurt, drinking yogurt, and fruit juice products; aiming to diversify Vinamilk products in the international market, suitable for different consumer needs. Most recently, Vinamilk has officially launched yogurt products in Thailand, which have been completely re-researched in terms of taste, packaging, features and images to suit Thai consumers.

Currently, Asia is the market where Vinamilk focuses its strong investment. At the same time, Vinamilk continues to consolidate its presence and focus more on new international markets, especially the African region with great potential, by investing in market research activities to suit local culture, launching strong products (powdered milk, nutritional powder, etc.); expanding the distribution system and increasing brand awareness.

Product quality is always the top priority of the Vinamilk National brand. Recently, Vinamilk signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the world's leading nutrition group DSM - Switzerland, applying international standard nutrition to powdered milk products for children and Vietnamese consumers.

Vinamilk currently has a system of 10 dairy farms across Vietnam. Recently, Vinamilk has also completed the certification and put into operation the first organic dairy farm in Vietnam according to European standards in Lam Dong province.

It is expected that in mid-December 2016, Vinamilk will launch the first premium organic fresh milk product produced in Vietnam. This is also a step to affirm Vinamilk's pioneering role in researching and developing organic milk products, meeting the needs of Vietnamese consumers in the segment of truly natural premium products.

The impressive development in recent years has brought Vinamilk collective noble titles and awards from the Party and State: Labor Hero title in 2000; Third-class Independence Medal in 2005; Second-class Independence Medal in 2010; Third-class Independence Medal for the second time in 2016 and many other noble awards from the Party and State.

Vinamilk has completed the certification and put into operation the first organic dairy farm in Vietnam according to European standards in Lam Dong province. It is expected that in mid-December 2016, Vinamilk will launch the first premium organic fresh milk product produced in Vietnam.
