The most chosen brand in the milk and dairy products industry for 7 consecutive years
The Brand Footprint ranking is based on the Consumer Reach Point (CRP) metric. This is an index that measures how many households in the research area choose to buy a brand (purchase rate) and how often they buy (purchase frequency). Therefore, this metric is the most realistic representation of consumer choice. Accordingly, Vinamilk's CRP score leads the ranking and is the most chosen brand in the dairy and dairy products industry in both urban and rural areas. Notably, this is the 7th consecutive year Vinamilk has led this ranking.
Assessing Vinamilk's results, in the Brand Footprint report on the Vietnamese market, Kantar Worldpanel commented:“Vinamilk continues to shine as the leading brand in the rankings.productmilk and milk substitutes are the most purchased products, with CRP scores surpassing all competitors in both urban and rural areas. This brand also increases investment in communications and marketing to affirm its position as well as constantly innovates products with many attractive new flavors such as Vinamilk walnut soy milk, ADM banana milk, and purple sticky rice yogurt on the market."

The dynamism and creativity in meeting the increasingly diverse needs of consumers have helped Vinamilk maintain its leading position in the milk market for many consecutive years. According to another market research report, conducted by Nielsen Vietnam, Vinamilk is currently leading the domestic market in both output and sales of both liquid milk and powdered milk for children, for 12 consecutive months (from March 2018 to February 2019).

According to the 2019 Brand Footprint report, Vinamilk's CRP score leads in both urban (4 major cities) and rural areas of Vietnam in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. In urban areas, Vinamilk has a CRP score that is significantly higher than other brands in the rankings. Notably, this is the second consecutive year that Vinamilk is the most purchased brand in both urban and rural areas.

Comprehensive development strategy ofVinamilk
In addition to product research and development, Vinamilk continues to focus on investing in its system of factories and dairy farms, applying technology to increase production capacity. The company currently has 13 factories in Vietnam, including 2 large-capacity liquid milk and powdered milk super factories, applying modern technology and high automation. Specifically, the Vietnam Milk Factory has completed phase 2, with a designed capacity of up to 10 million milk products of all kinds per day. The Vietnam Powdered Milk Factory has an initial investment capital of up to 2,000 billion VND, with a capacity of 54,000 tons of powdered milk per year.
Vinamilk is also the unit that owns the largest farm system in Asia certified to meet the Global Good Agricultural Practices (Global GAP) standards in terms of the number of farms. This system is among 12 farms of Vinamilk nationwide. Currently, the total herd of cows that Vinamilk is managing and exploiting for milk is approximately 130,000. With the above resources, Vinamilk can produce an average of 950 - 1,000 tons of raw fresh milk per day. Recently, Vinamilk has started a project of "Resort" organic dairy cows in Laos with a scale of 5,000 hectares, with 24,000 cows. Thus, together with 2 farms built according to European Organic standards in the country, Vinamilk will have an abundant source of organic fresh milk to meet the increasing demand.
