Honoring the work of youth football training.

(Baonghean.vn) - In recent years, HN T&T and VPF have been asserting their position on the map of youth football training in Vietnam.

The 2015 Ton Hoa Sen National U19 Cup championship will serve as a foundation for them to produce quality players for Vietnamese football in the coming years and give them more confidence in their quest to "find gold in the sand" in the years to come.

VPF (in blue) is determined to win their first ever U-age championship.

For two consecutive years, HN T&T has reached the final of the tournament. This proves that the HN T&T youth football academy is truly heading in the right direction. In this year's final round, they are the only team that has not lost a single match. While their attack has scored 8 goals, their defense has only conceded 2.

A few statistics are enough to assess the strength of HN T&T in this year's final round. Many spectators and those involved in youth football, after witnessing HN T&T's matches at Vinh Stadium, share the same opinion: this is a team with a well-thought-out strategy. Even in the opening match at Vinh Stadium against the home team SLNA, coach Minh Duc proactively instructed his players to adhere to a defensive counter-attacking tactic, despite being considered superior to their opponents with many physically larger players.

As a result, SLNA was drawn into the opponent's style of play, conceding two consecutive goals. In the following matches, HN T&T continued to dominate and consistently "finished" according to their pre-planned strategy.

The success of the Hanoi T&T U19 team this year is seen as the "sweet fruit" of the youth training program that the capital city's team is building through its satellite youth training centers. More than half of the players in the current Hanoi T&T U19 squad are from Nghe An province, having been trained at the VST youth training facility located in Cua Lo town, Nghe An.

Players like Quang Hai, Huu Son, and Thanh Chung are examples of this, showing maturity and improvement with each match. Even in the group stage, HN T&T defeated their VPF opponent 1-0. This gives coach Minh Duc and his team the confidence to win the championship in their second year in the final.

Meanwhile, VPF, besides luck, reached the final thanks to their highly-rated squad with the best physique and fitness in this year's tournament. The players in this year's VPF team were selected and trained by the first generation of former Vietnamese football legends such as Huu Dang, Minh Chien, Thanh Liem, and Viet Thang over the past seven years, so they understand each other very well. And this success isn't limited to this year's final; VPF has achieved similar success in the past few years as well.ThisThe youth teams of VPF are always highly regarded in youth tournaments at the U-age levels within the VFF's organizational system.

However, despite their fame, they have never won a championship cup. Therefore, this year's final is an opportunity for the VPF training academy to be determined to "achieve success" and see it as the reward for all the money invested in youth football. This could be a stepping stone for some players in the VPF squad to continue on the professional path after graduation.
