Vinh League 2015: Attractive playground

(Baonghean) - On the afternoon of March 21, at Hung Phuc Ward Stadium (Vinh City), the opening ceremony of the Vinh League - Chuong Duong Cup 2015 took place. The 12 strongest grassroots football clubs in the province at present participated, including: FC Chuong Duong, FC U38, FC Quang Vinh, FC 57, FC Hung Linh, FC An Thinh, FC Van Minh, FC Monkey, FC Fire, FC Hieu Giang, FC Free - Thanh Co and FC Y Lan.

This is the third consecutive year that a tournament in the format of the National Professional Football Championship has been held for the strongest grassroots clubs in Vinh City. This year, the tournament was organized by the Nghe An Provincial Amateur Football Association and attracted many businesses to sponsor, in which the main sponsor, Chuong Duong Beverage Joint Stock Company, donated 100 million VND.

With the participation of many football stars who are currently and have played for SLNA Club and many professional clubs across the country such as Ngo Hoang Thinh, Thai Ba Phi (FC An Thinh), Nguyen Quang Tinh, Ho Khanh Diep (FC U38), Van Quyen, Huy Hoang, Minh Ngoc, Khac Trong (FC Free - Thanh Co), Nguyen Hai Nam, Nguyen Huu Hung, Nguyen Anh Ba Tu (FC Chuong Duong), Truong Dac Khanh, Nguyen Van The (FC Hung Linh), Phan Tien Hoai (FC 57), Dinh Hoan, Huy Le, Van Hung (FC Van Minh)... and more than 200 excellent "street" football players have brought many beautiful football moments to the competitions in Vinh League 2015. Especially the carefree nature typical of "street" football matches and the desire to show off of the players who were once famous are the factors that make the matches always fierce and attractive, so the tournament has attracted hundreds of spectators to watch and cheer.

On the opening day, the first 3 matches of round 1 were full of drama. FC Chuong Duong of the former Hai Nam national team with a well-balanced squad dominated FC U38 and led 1-0, but in the second half with a sharp counter-attacking defense strategy, FC U38 made a surprising comeback thanks to 2 successful headers by striker Ho Khanh Diep and took the lead 2-1.

However, before referee Truong Dinh Thai blew the whistle to end the match, FC Chuong Duong managed to regain 1 point thanks to Nguyen Huu Hung's extremely dangerous shot after a quick attack and perfect coordination from his teammates. The confrontation between FC Quang Vinh and FC 57 was also a draw and ended with a score of 2 - 2. The third match between FC Hung Linh and FC An Thinh was considered to be evenly matched, with players from both teams performing many beautiful moves with spectacular score chases. As a result, FC An Thinh won 3 - 2 and became the first team to have 3 points in the first round.

It can be seen that the establishment of Nghe An Province Amateur Football Association has created a connection, helping the activities of amateur football clubs in the area to be organized and the quality of the matches has been significantly improved. Thanks to the careful and meticulous preparation of the dedicated people in the Provincial Amateur Football Association as well as the response and consensus of many amateur football clubs in the City, Vinh League this year has been raised to a new level. With the round-robin format of 2 home and away matches to calculate points like V.League, 6 matches take place each week at Hung Phuc Ward Stadium (3 matches on Saturday afternoon, 3 matches on Sunday afternoon), Vinh League 2015 will last continuously until May 31st to end.

The Nghe An Province Amateur Football Association has decided that, in addition to organizing the Vinh League for the 12 strongest clubs at present, after the tournament ends, it will organize the First Division for 14 weaker clubs. According to the regulations of the Organizing Committee, the team that wins the First Division championship will win a ticket to the next level, and the team that finishes second will play a play-off match with the 12th ranked team of Vinh League 2015 to compete for a ticket to Vinh League next year.
