Babysitter couple abuses 2-year-old girl
While babysitting a 2-year-old girl, Doan Dieu Linh and her husband used electric wires to tie the child's legs and cover her mouth with tape... to torture the child.
On July 30, Dong Da District Police (Hanoi) are investigating child abuse by Doan Dieu Linh, 26 years old, and Hoang The Vu, 28 years old.

Linh takes care of a 2-year-old girl in lane 198 Xa Dan, Phuong Lien ward, for 3 million VND per month.
Authorities allege that while babysitting, seeing the baby having a fever and crying, Linh and her husband used a phone charger cord to tie her legs and used a wooden stick and a plastic hammer to hit her on the head and body.
When the baby was still fussy, the two suspects wrapped him in a blanket and covered his mouth with tape.
On July 28, seeing the victim tired and having difficulty breathing, Linh and Vu took him to the National Children's Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors there discovered that the child was purple, lethargic, and had a high fever. They suspected that he had been abused, so they reported the matter to the police.
