Under intense pressure from the online community, the Fanpage "Tu Huyen Nghe An" with more than 1 million followers was locked. At the same time, the TikTok channel "Tu Mai" - which attracted more than 2 million followers - also temporarily suspended the comment feature, supposedly to limit the spread of negative feedback.

Recently, the famous TikToker couple “Tu Huyen Nghe An” faced a wave of fierce criticism after posting a video reviewing a phone market in Shenzhen (China). The video content quickly became the center of controversy and led to calls for a boycott from the online community, especially the phone business community in Vietnam.

Famous TikToker couple "Tu Huyen Nghe An" reviews the phone market in Shenzhen (China).

In the clip, Ms. Truong Thi Huyen shared: "This is a market that anyone working in the phone industry will never dare to reveal to others." She said that here, iPhone prices can be 3 times cheaper than the domestic market. The couple also introduced many products for sale at the market, from iPhone models to accessories, while emphasizing the "extremely cheap" prices, making many people skeptical.

Notably, their team also held up an iPhone 13 Pro Max and explained that this was a "rebuilt" product - when it arrives in Vietnam, it will be sold as "99%" or "like new", meaning the device has been used but is still new. According to Mr. Mai Tu, an iPhone 7 here only costs about 300 yuan (equivalent to more than 1 million VND).

Just a few hours after being posted, the video received a lot of negative reactions. Many people working in the phone industry in Vietnam said that the clip was biased, misleading customers and directly affected the reputation of those who are doing legitimate business. Some stores even announced that they would refuse to sell to the couple because they thought they were "spreading false information, causing harm to the industry".
