Wife forged leader's signature, husband was expelled from the Party
Making illegal documents to study law at university, in which the wife forged the signature of a leader, Mr. Tran Hieu Trinh, member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, was expelled from the Party.
According to information from the Party Committee of Ca Mau province, Mr. Trinh was disciplined for using illegal documents to study at the Law University organized by Can Tho University in coordination with the Education Center of Ca Mau province.
According to the records, when studying, Mr. Trinh did not use the documents of his working unit to submit his study application but used a letter of introduction from another public unit to legalize the application.
The letter of introduction was signed by Mr. Trinh's wife and stamped by a leader to falsely confirm her husband's admission to school.
Previously, when Mr. Trinh from Bac Lieu province applied to work at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, his application only provided photocopied diplomas and certificates.
When the Inspection Team of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province asked the cadres and civil servants working at the unit to submit the original copies of their diplomas and certificates for inspection and comparison, Mr. Trinh could not provide them.
Mr. Trinh's use of fake high school and university degrees "deceived" many agencies and units of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces during more than 15 years of work.
For this behavior, Mr. Trinh was disciplined with a warning by both the party and the government.
