According to the investigation agency, on June 10, Hiep and his wife argued because of sexual jealousy. At that time, Phan Trong Luat (Hiep's husband) could not control himself and beat his wife.

The victim took a pan of boiling oil and threw it at Mr. Luat. The incident caused burns to his face, ears, legs, etc. and required emergency hospitalization.

According to the assessment results, Mr. Luat suffered a 14% permanent disability.
