According to Mr. Huong, at around 6 p.m. on October 20, a young man entered a gold shop on Coc Leu Street and asked to buy a 4.7-tael gold necklace for more than VND9 million. While looking at the goods, he took the necklace and ran to his motorbike to escape.
"The authorities have extracted camera footage from the gold shop, but the license plate number cannot be seen clearly, so the investigation is difficult," said Mr. Huong.
Mr. Chu Van Thanh (born 1998, gold shop owner) said the young man who robbed the necklace was about 1.7m tall, wearing a white shirt, red pants, riding a black Wave motorbike with 2 mirrors and license plate number 24.
