Vo Le Que Anh sets off to 'conquer' Miss Grand International after the scandal
Vo Le Que Anh officially left for Cambodia to compete in the Miss Grand International 2024 contest.

At the airport, the 23-year-old beauty wore a blue blazer, combined with high boots and sharp makeup. Many Vietnamese stars such as Miss Le Hoang Phuong, Miss Doan Thien An, Runner-up Hanh Nguyen... were also present to encourage Que Anh in this journey of "bringing bells to strike foreign lands".
Que Anh said she felt excited and enthusiastic about participating in Miss Grand International 2024. “I sincerely thank all of you, the crew and the audience for always supporting me throughout the journey. I will try my best to perform well and hope to achieve high results in this year's competition,” she confided.
Que Anh was born in 2001, is 1.72m tall and has measurements of 78-62-89. The beauty graduated from the Korean Language and Culture major at Hue University. During the 2 months after winning the domestic contest, despite facing the noise, Que Anh spent time cultivating and perfecting skills such as catwalk, behavior... to be able to confidently "fight" internationally. She aims to continue the proud journey that previous Vietnamese beauties have done at Miss Grand International.

Que Anh said her strengths before coming to the contest were flexibility, being able to communicate in English and Korean, and a willingness to learn. “What I need to improve is being more confident in presenting in front of a crowd. Many people say I look gentle, but in fact I am an active person in social activities and cultural programs. I will try to balance all four criteria of beauty - body - intelligence - business that the contest aims for,” Que Anh said.
Previously, the 23-year-old beauty attracted attention when she posted a letter on her personal page, hoping that the audience would give her a chance to express herself at the competition. She affirmed that she would try her best to not let everyone down. “For nearly 2 months, my days have started at 6am and ended at 12am, without a single day of rest. I know this journey will be very long, but I will persevere and keep trying,” she shared.

Que Anh hopes to receive support from the audience, especially in the rounds with voting categories. She expressed: “In the end, no matter what the results of the competition are, the emotions belong to the audience. However, I hope that, for the audience who are still skeptical and do not yet love Que Anh, this time will give me an opportunity to receive the audience's support. Please consider it as me owing the audience a debt of gratitude. I will try my best to prove that the forgiveness, empathy, and support of the audience on this journey is worthy.”
This year’s Miss Grand International contest takes place in Cambodia and Thailand. In addition to the two semi-final and final rounds, contestants from different countries will participate in additional rounds such as private interviews, swimsuits, national costume performances, etc. Before Que Anh, Le Hoang Phuong won 4th runner-up at the contest.
