(Baonghean.vn) - “Hearing the news that the children were rescued in Lam Dong, we feel like we've been reborn. This joy is overwhelming; we don't know what more to say, except to thank the authorities and people nationwide who have been concerned about the children,” said Mr. Pham Van Diem, whose son, daughter-in-law, and grandson were trapped in the hydroelectric tunnel, his eyes welling up with tears of joy.

On the afternoon of December 19th, Mr. Pham Van Diem and Mrs. Hoang Thi Binh from Hamlet 10, Cat Van Commune, Thanh Chuong District, clutched their phones tightly, constantly receiving information from relatives who were present at the scene of the hydroelectric tunnel collapse in Lam Dong.

In the tunnel collapse, Mr. and Mrs. Binh's son Pham Viet Nam, daughter-in-law Dang Thi Hong Ngoc, and nephew Pham Viet Lanh were trapped.

At exactly 4:35 PM, both of their phones rang loudly. As if guided by intuition, they both answered and heard the words: "They've all been saved. They're all alive, Mom and Dad. The children are all healthy. Don't worry." Hearing this news, the couple wept with joy. After this call, both their phones were constantly ringing with calls from siblings and relatives offering encouragement and congratulations.
