In "The Doc Dao", Thu Huyen plays the role of a boss's wife who always has to find a way to keep her husband, but in real life, she has a happy life with her husband, her first love.

Short but brainy role

- The movie "The Unique" is loved by the audience. How does playing the role of the boss's wife feel different and strange?

Up to now, I have often played the roles of shrewish, fierce, and mean-spirited people, even though in real life I am very gentle. The role of Mrs. Anh - the wife of the boss Quan "old" (Vinh Xuong) is similar, except that this character has many psychological changes. Each scene depicts a different aspect of Mrs. Anh. This is a short role, but the character experiences all the joys, anger, love, and hate in life, requiring me to fully express all the nuances of emotions. This is also a challenge for me.

The role of the boss's wife in the movie "The One" took a lot of effort from actress Thu Huyen.

- The character Anh is a wife who is neglected by her husband and always has to scheme to keep him. Does this make it difficult for you?

This type of role is not too difficult for me. However, the time from when I received the role to when I started filming was very fast, so I had to concentrate very hard.

I often joke that the movie Doc Dao cost me money for clothes and brainpower. Although it was a bit stressful at times, this role brought a new feeling when working with a young and energetic crew. I felt like I learned things that my generation lacked. Every time I come back, I am tired but very happy.

The actress was sometimes stressed but also happy after participating in the movie.

- What was the most impressive scene for you in "The Way"?

That was the scene where Mrs. Anh cried because she was chased abroad by the boss, almost predicting the events that were about to happen to "old" Quan's family and the fate of the character Anh.

This was really the most tiring scene for me. Mrs. Anh's emotions changed constantly, from crying to laughing, from begging to hating, and cursing her husband.

I am good-natured and simple-minded.

- Is Thu Huyen fierce and mean in real life like in her roles?

I consider myself kind, but I'm sure few people believe it. For me, what's important is not being kind or scary, but being reasonable.

For me, what will come will come, there is no calculation. I live a very simple life. Many people who meet me on the street comment that Thu Huyen is sociable like a normal person, not a famous actress. But I also do not understand why directors often choose me for the role of a shrew.

In real life, actress Thu Huyen is a gentle person, completely different from her roles on film.

- Working at the theater, acting in movies and having a small child, do you sometimes feel overwhelmed and unable to balance?

After my youngest child was born, I took care of him myself because I felt sorry for him because he was born prematurely. Now, even though he is a little older, I still take care of everything myself, from shopping to cooking.

Besides taking care of my family, I also work in the theater, make videos, build my personal brand and act in movies. Sometimes I feel pressured and tired, but luckily I know how to manage and organize my work so everything is fine.

- How has your family, specifically your husband, supported you to focus on your artistic activities?

My job often involves leaving early and coming home late, and I often have to film scenes with male co-stars, but my husband still understands and trusts me. He still takes care of everything at home, so he loves me very much. When I go on a long trip, my husband also arranges time to take me there. When I receive a new project, I always discuss it and ask my husband's opinion.

Many times, I don't need your help, just a word of encouragement or a small action is enough to make me feel like I can handle anything.

The actress has a happy and fulfilling life with her second husband, her first love.

- Have you ever controlled your husband, kept him like the character in the movie?

My husband and I live a very simple life, without many rules in marriage. I don’t check my husband’s phone or pry into him. I just say that while we are together, we must respect and be kind to each other. If we no longer respect each other, I want everything to be clear and straightforward.

- Looking at what you have in the present and the pain in the past, do you feel hatred or gratitude for the past?

I don’t stay angry with anyone for long, nor do I hold grudges about the past. I think everything that happens is due to fate. If fate exists, it stays. If fate ends, it goes. It’s no one’s fault. That’s a lesson and an experience for me. Sometimes, I even thank the past for training me to become brave and have a stance like I am now.
