Vietnamese boxer enters the final of the World Muay Thai Championship

Defeating the boxer Jaffar Al-Qashaamai of host Sweden, the Vietnamese boxer is present in the final of the World Muay Thai tournament for the sixth consecutive year.

After three rounds, the boxer from Vietnam won convincingly to earn a ticket to the final round of the 60 kg weight class of the world championship taking place in Sweden.

Duy Nhat’s opponent in the final on May 27 comes from Kyrgyzstan. If he wins, the boxer nicknamed “the undefeated” will win the world championship for the sixth consecutive year.

Duy Nhat is the son of the famous martial artist couple Nguyen Tran Dieu and Minh Anh Ngoc. Inheriting natural qualities from his parents, the martial artist from Lam Dong showed his talent for martial arts at a very young age.

In August 2008, the biggest turning point in Duy Nhat's life came when he was selected to join the HCMC Muay Thai team. Since then, the 1989-born fighter has been a key player in the Vietnam Muay Thai team. Besides Muay Thai, Duy Nhat also has a passion for motorbikes.
