According toThe Star, homebuyers in Singapore last week discovered something unusual when looking at photos taken inside an apartment for sale on real estate websites in the country. One of the photos, taken in a bedroom, showed the reflection of a naked man in the mirror.
The above photos have been posted on many real estate trading sites for the past month, but it was not until March 6 that internet users discovered the sensitive photo.
The Real Estate Association of Singapore has launched an investigation into the matter. Real estate agent Benson Han, who posted the apartment for sale for S$570,000 (about VND10 billion), told local news sites that the homeowner had sent him the photos via WhatsApp during the recent Chinese New Year.
"He had just finished showering, and while he was drying off, I think he decided to take some photos of his place. The photos were so small that I didn't notice," Han said.
After informing the apartment owner, Han also asked several colleagues to remove the for sale ad from the two real estate sites.
"He was shocked and insisted that he had no intention of exposing the nude photos. Who would want to show off their nude photos online?", Han added.
Angeline Liang, Han's colleague, revealed that although the apartment for sale ad had been removed, the sensitive photo had gone viral and become a topic of discussion among netizens.
