Balotelli has ended his goal drought.

In the 90+2 minute, Swansea was down to 10 men after midfielder Fernandes received a red card and was sent off. Exactly 3 minutes later, rookie midfielder Lovren headed the ball accurately, sealing a deserved 2-1 victory for the home team Liverpool.

It was even the home team that created the first dangerous chance when Knight-Percival jumped high to head a corner kick in the 4th minute, forcing Petr Cech to dive to save right on the goal line.

In the 48th minute, veteran Didier Drogba marked his impressive form recently with a goal to open the score 1-0 from Salah's pass. Shrewsbury seemed to be down after conceding a goal, but the home team still played with enthusiasm and confidence.
